“Repose can never be the future of man”
So say the sages
amongst other wise saws
and adages.
This must come
as somewhat glum
news
for those whose
youth has been spent reclining,
and now in their years declining,
have reached a pose
very close
to comatose.

But in my humble opinion
there is a ray of hope
as we all slide down that slippery slope
to oblivion.
Say the sages come what may,
The future is always a day away.
So while it may never be the future of man,
Let us all relax,
( while not ignoring the facts)
and get as much repose as we possibly can.
